One really easy way to be more green and support green businesses is to buy recycled items. Toilet paper and paper towel not come made from recycled materials. Today I purchased a day planner made of 90% recycled materials including the wire ring binding.

When we purchase recycled products not only are we following the reuse rule but we are also keeping the employees of these companies employed thus promoting green businesses. When we support green businesses they are able to thrive and help even more people become green.

Try it- next time you are at the store. Choose just a few recycled items that you normally wouldn’t buy and make a difference in your home that makes a difference for our great planet.
